Justice corrals Egyptian Hosni Mubarak. The country's attorney general has ordered him to president of Egypt and his two sons, Alaa and Gamal, to the Cairo Criminal Court for "premeditated murder and attempted murder" of protesters during the riots.
For now, Mubarak, who resigned on Feb. 11 under pressure from peaceful protests, is detained by order of the Prosecutor. Both exmandatario and their children, who are seen as potential heirs are also accused of influence peddling, willful damage to government funds and illicit enrichment.
The decision of the Attorney General Abdel Meguid Mahmoud, coincides with the call of another demonstration on Friday in Cairo's Tahrir Square, the epicenter of the protests. The Egyptians will go back to the street in a major new focus for accelerated reform and demand a public trial against Mubarak and other senior officials of his regime.
"Whenever young people threaten to Tahrir Square again with a large number of protesters, I think (the Supreme Council of the Army, which has governed the country since the resignation of Mubarak) makes some concessions, " Hasan Nafaa considered Political analyst and critic of Mubarak.
